The first blog for the year sees me looking forward to the DIY Marae program coming to Mangamuka on the 26th-28th of February. Everyone on board!
DIY will be landscaping with rock wall to hold back the flood and gardens to beautify the marae, buildings will be painted and a water feature built in front of the kohanga reo.
Good news too for 2011, with our marae development project forecasted to be completed. We will have a larger wharekai and a new wharepaku.
Yea mangamuka marae, mangamuka people and mangamuka tuturu HI!!!
